The Rainbow Show – Da Vinci Art Alliance

The Rainbow Show - Sandra Benhaim

Group exhibition by Philadelphia Collageworks @ Gallery 2
Exhibition Runs: April 22nd – May 9th, 2021
Public Opening Reception: Sunday, April 25th, 2021 at 3pm on Zoom

About the exhibition: The Rainbow Show is a debut collaboration by 24 artists of CollageWorks whom each created small, monochromatic collages in appreciation of the spectrum as expressed in the rainbow. The hundreds of small works in this exhibition are hung by color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black to create a glowing rainbow that surrounds the Da Vinci Art Alliance upstairs gallery. The diverse styles and techniques of the many artists involved are highlighted as they stand in ideological harmony in support of the Philadelphia LGBTQ community and of Black Lives.

Art As An Antidote – Inspiration & Hope For The Future

ArtSpeak Collective, presents our first online competition. We had over 80 entries from high caliber artists submit to our show, and with the help of our guest juror, Joseph Cavalieri, we bring to you “Art As An Antidote – Inspiration & Hope For The Future.” This show expresses the artists transformative power of art, which can inspire, and give hope during the most difficult times. The art you are about to see is a response to the last year and our movement into a better place, in other words, the art you see can be an antidote to the world around us. In addition to the selected works our Joseph Cavalieri has picked a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
